Question by Chadwick: Why do energy drinks do nothing for me, even make me feel more tired after I drink them?
I’ve tried every energy drink there is. Amp, Red Bull, Rock star, 24-7, monster and none of them do anything for me. I’ve always noticed that I am the complete opposite of everyone else. Caffeine and sugar dont wake me up or make me more hyper at all. Whats the deal with my body?

Energy drinks aren’t good. They fill you up with sugar and then you crash. Maybe your body is rejecting them somehow, IDK…

because most energy drinks are the government’s way of poisoning us without getting in trouble.
a really helpful one is 5-hour energy, it doesn’t taste very good (but not awful), and it really does give me more energy.
There is alot of sugar in energy drinks. Perhaps you are diabetic?
it all depends on how much energy drinks and caffeine you consume a day.like me i drink coffee and soda all day everyday and thats why it has no effect on me.and believe it or not but the reason you may be tired is because the sugars in the drinks actually make you tired, at first they boost you but then when your all said and done with it its the sugars that make you tired..so maybe go with an energy shot that has less sugar..i use to use a thing called energy shot.they worked good but taste like crap
I Drink Monavie EMV which is a healthy energy drink made from the acai berry. This gives you energy for 3+ hours depending on the person without the jitter or crash of other energy drinks. This drink has natural sugars from the fruit & none of the high added caffeine that most of the other energy drinks use…… This one really works like so many of the others i tried didn’t.
All the energy drinks contain a lot of sugar or caffeine. These could be considered the “active ingredients.I think tis didn’t support your body.
i have the same problem yet i dont regularly drink coffee or energy drinks, i can have 2 or 3 coffee’s double strength and go to bed and sleep. it sucks because i cant pep myself up if i have to drive at night
