Question by Revolutionary: Why am I always in a good mood after I drink an energy drink?
Specifically Monster, or Joker: Mad Energy. I know energy drinks aren’t good for you, but whenever I drink them, I feel really happy and motivated. Why?

The energy drinks you listed are all VERY high in two substances that STIMULATE the nervous system, so you feel more awake and aware. Those substances are quite simply sugar and caffeine.

It’s the caffeine, guarana, etc. It’s an addiction and when you get what you are addicted to it feels good. It has to do with brain chemistry.
