If you’ve ever stopped to wonder what’s actually inside that can you’re sucking down in a desperate attempt to power through yet another meeting or exam, game or party, then you’re very smart.

Energy drinks are designed to give us a boost and some are even said to provide nutritional value, supposedly delivering herbal supplements and healthy alternatives to caffeine.

But what’s really in these little cans we’re consuming like water?  What are the common ingredients and how do they work for us (or against us)?  What nutritional information are they hiding from us on those cans and shots?

Energy drink nutrition is a very big topic.  We should know about each of the common ingredients in energy drinks that we’re putting into our bodies.  Then of course, we should be aware of how those ingredients affect our bodies and our minds.  In addition to that, it’d be nice to know if we’re getting any health benefits from energy drinks and if so, what?
