Why the Energy Drink Vault?

With zillions of energy drink reviews and stories swirling all around us online and off, what’s the only thing that seems to be missing?

The truth.

On the one hand, we’re told the stuff in those can is going to make us sexy, strong, and mostly wired…

And on the other, we’re told that same stuff will kill us.

Where’s the truth?

Everyone can use a boost from time to time.  Some more than others.  And everyone for different reasons.  The energydrinkvault is about cracking that can and delivering some truth about what’s inside and how it can help or hurt you, whoever you are.

It’s about revealing the truth behind:

  • the best energy drink
  • the effects of energy drinks
  • energy drink ingredients
  • energy drink reviews (particularly the big ones – Monster, Rockstar, Red, Cocaine, Amp, 5 Hour, Nos, etc.)

There tends to be more than meets the palate and energydrinkvault intends to find the perfect energy drink (if one exists) for everyone’s different needs.

About Chloe Delano

I started energydrinkvault.com in the fall of 2009.  Like most people, I’m a lot of things.  I’m a student, I’m a teacher and I’m a marathon runner.  And I’m a party animal (don’t tell my students, my professors or my trainers).

This means many things.

First of all, I’m nerdy enough to want to learn everything I can about everything around me all the time.  I’m a grad student now but I consider myself a student for life.  I’m also a teacher (or was, and will be again).  That means I love to share what I learn and continue building my knowledge by interacting with those around me.  Most of what you find on the pages that make up this website are a result of this.

Then of course, I’m an athlete.  Once upon a time I played way too much soccer.  Now I run marathons yearly.  Any suggestions of fabulous courses around the globe are warmly welcomed.

And last but not least, I play as hard as I work and harder than I train.  What else is there to do in West Hollywood?

So what does all this mean for energydrinkvault?

I have every use in the world for a good energy drink.  When I’m teaching, my days are long and grueling.  When I’m in school, my propensity for procrastination always results in all-nighters.  When I’m training, the miles pile and pile.  And on Fridays (and often Saturdays… and sometimes Thursdays), I let a little mixed drink (or five) give me wings.

What I’ve learned over the years is that there’s a different energy drink for everything and I’ve found the ones that work for my every situation, but it’s beyond me – it’s about body chemistry.  The energydrinkvault is about helping you find out what works (and what doesn’t) for you.

Do I promote the shameless marketing of the most popular energy drink brands that pushes dangerously high levels of caffeine to their young and impressionable targets?

No, of course not.

Do I think there’s a place for those drinks in our society?

Yeah, hell yeah.

There’s a time and a place for everything.  It’s about being a smart consumer.  I take a boost where I can get it and I know just what I’m putting inside my body and whether the benefits outweigh the risks.

And what about you?

What can an energy drink do for you?

Let’s crack open the energydrinkvault and find out…
